i enjoyed this
ok so this book reminded me a little bit of the feeling when i had no mates as a teenager and i had nothing to do so i'd walk around the town and fields and i thought i was too cool for a coat so it was freezing and i also always wore the wrong shoes so my nice trainers got muddy... in a good way !
medieval horizons, ian mortimer

biography of x, catherine lacey
i am TRYINGGG... 3/4 of the way through fighting for my life omg dragging myself kicking and screaming to finish this book but i dont wanna i hate it im sorry
ok i like the alternate history / american civil war thing thats what interested me about this book but i feel like she gives up on it ... i truly am trying to see why everyone told me it was good ... the main character is sooo annoying and unlikeable but everyone in the book thinks they are soo cool and smart and its like guys all of you are annoying .... i get annoyed every time i pick it up again... am i the problem ? maybe this book will go to the book graveyard
Perfume, Patrick Süskind

wifedom, anna funder
about Eileen O'Shaughness ( Orwell's wife )
heard about this from a podcast i was listening to ... looking forward to reading but god, why is it that the books i want to read at the library always seem to only be available as gigantic huge hardbacks its not even big font or a long book its just the hardback reinforced steel cover and to be honest its so embarassing carrying it... i can't get it out discretely in a relaxed and chill way on the bus, it makes me feel like an ipad baby even though its a book... it wouldnt fit in my bag on the way home so i had to carry it round like a clutch in a very : look at me! look at me! kind of way... the picture doesnt capture how big it is its like two and a half hands ... will begin reading this when i get over the shame of it being tombstone, ipad pro sized
(podcast was , The Spanish Civil War: Fighting Facism With Hemingway and Orwell : https://www.everand.com/listen/podcast/977705500 )
